Saturated Fats Defined
Found mostly in animal products like meat, lard, poultry skin, whole milk or full-fat dairy products like butter. Saturated fats are also found in certain types of processed foods that contain hydrogenated fats. Saturated fats can raise blood cholesterol levels.

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - In a study of middle-aged adults, maintaining a diet high in linoleic acid -- the main dietary polyunsaturated fatty acid found in certain plants and vegetables -- seemed to lower the risk of developing high blood pressure.
